I’m a Locksmith, everybody that follows me knows it. But I agree that sometimes, SOME Locksmiths can really be annoying. Even me, being a hardcore shipper, find things that Locksmiths do, ridiculous. I know that all Locksmiths love TaeNy very much, but:

1- TaeYeon doesn’t look at Tiffany’s butt all the time. She hardly ever does it. She looks at the floor.
2- Comment things about TaeNy when the main issue is another SoShi pairing is not nice, at least not if you say it seriously.
3- Some Locksmiths link the most stupid things to TaeNy. If there is a video of idk, SunYeon interacting and there is 1 dislike, they always say ”Tiffany doesn’t like it.” This isn’t nice either.

Ok, again, I’m a hardcore shipper. I love TaeNy with all my heart, I love their bond, their story together and yes I think they are perfect for each other. But I don’t put my ship above my fandom. I love all the girls equally, and I also know that all of them have a strong bond, whatmakes me proud of my group. I don’t think SNSD boils down to TaeNy.

But what makes me sad is all this hate. Why? I know some Locksmiths can be ridiculous sometimes but why all this hate, people? Locksmiths are SONEs too. Our fandom already has “intrigues” with another fandoms, why do you want to make one IN our fandom? Our fandom is so beautiful, SONEs are so united, we have to preserve all of this. Don’t hate Locksmiths. I know all the spazzes (followers, idk how you guys can follow me srsly) can be really tiring and annoying but Jesus, it’s our OTP. I know you have your own OTP too and I know you spazz when you see them together. It’s normal. 

Then, it comes the part of Locksmiths’ defensiveness. I’ve already talked about this a hundred times, but here we go again: Yes, Locksmiths are too defensive, but that’s because we believe too much in our otp. We love TaeNy very much, so, why wouldn’t we defend them and their bond? Why wouldn’t we defend the love that we believe they share? We would do the same if someone insulted our girls or their amazing bond. But we would never insult your otp. I’ve seen a lot of people saying “I used to be a TaeNy shipper, but I got tired of seeing them together every single moment.” and “TaeNy shippers are ridiculous. I hate them and I hate their couple.”. Ok… So, you hate the couple, right? You hate something in Girls’ Generation? That means that you don’t appreciate the bond that ALL of them share, including TaeYeon and Tiffany?

Then who are you to say that Locksmiths just see TaeNy, just see their bond and not the others girls’ too?

Seriously, people, stop. This issue has been discussed for a long time, it’s time to stop. I bet no one wants a intrigue among the fandom. I bet no one wants to keep with this. And Locksmiths want respect. Hate will not make us stop loving and shipping TaeNy. Just let Locksmiths ship and go ship your own OTP, ok? Don’t keep with this. 

It’s tiring. It’s annoying. But above all, it’s too sad. It’s too sad seeing your family, SONEs, like this. Do you love SNSD? Do you love your family, that shares the same love with you?

Then stop with this. It won’t help or change anything.
